Court Seeds is a family-owned seed farm near Plumas. In 2017 we celebrated 35 years of seed production, 30 years of seed processing and 25 years of select status. We currently farm 5,800 acres of cropland and have additional acres contracted to supply the increasing demand for pedigreed seed.
Court Seeds currently consists of a large seed retail business and a new state-of-the-art seed cleaning facility. We produce and supply several varieties of Certified seed – cereals, oilseeds and specialty crops. Courts offers custom grain cleaning services to our customers, and free delivery of processed Certified seed directly off the cleaning plant to customers who wish to take immediate delivery of their seed.
Our 90 foot truck scale accommodates most trucks and our large yard provides clear access to the bins and processing plant.
We have secured partnerships with a large number of manufacturers and distributors that allow us access to the best seed genetics and products on the market. We are able to source products for all your needs from inoculants and seed treatments to forages and corn seed.
Courts provides custom seed treatment because we know this is an important option for many producers. In 2013 we added a new soybean treatment system to enhance our existing seed treatment services.
