Tracy_Jan2013_croppedCourt Seeds welcomes Tracy Court to the team and we’re very proud to introduce our daughter to our customers.

Tracy grew up here in Plumas and after high school she attended University of Manitoba, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Agronomy. In 2008 she moved to Lethbridge, AB to work as canola agronomist with Monsanto. There, she managed over a thousand acres of canola seed production which included intense field scouting and organizing contract work. In 2009 Tracy moved to Norquay, SK to work as retail agronomist with Hudye Soil Services where she managed a large portfolio of field scale trials including variety, fungicide, and growth regulator trials. At the same time, she provided full service field scouting and agronomic advice to retail customers.

Now, Tracy has moved back to the Plumas area. In addition to assisting Court Seeds with seed sales, inventory management and farm duties, Tracy plans to offer agronomy services to local producers. Services will include field scouting, pest identification and infestation levels, chemical recommendations, timing of field activities, crop rotation planning, varietal recommendations, soil testing, fertility planning, and field investigations.

Recently Tracy has completed the requirements to be a Licensed Seed Crop Inspector.
